Moving business online

Writer: Shokan SmagulovShokan Smagulov

The business world is constantly changing under the influence of technology, trends and global events. In this sense, the digital sphere is one of the most dynamic. To remain on the wave of success, you need to keep up to date and update your knowledge. Otherwise it is possible to find yourself on the sidelines with a set of ineffective advertising tools.

The task of marketing in a crisis is to respond quickly to external changes and be the center that is responsible for brand flexibility in an environment where everything can change in the shortest possible time. During the pandemic, the demands on marketing became stricter, because it was its effectiveness that determined whether a business could withstand the coming storm of the coronavirus.

Therefore, one of the main trends is strengthening the role of marketing and integrating it more deeply into the structure of the business. Companies need to strengthen work on user data collection, analytics, business process automation, fine-tuning of advertising campaigns, positioning and crisis communications. And most importantly - it is necessary to strengthen marketing, not to skimp on investments in it and give it a leading role in most processes.

Moving a business online is not just about launching advertising campaigns on search engines and social networks, but something more. Companies that have successfully integrated online are less likely to be in danger of closing during a crisis. The reason for this is well-established business processes, efficient distribution channels, service, process automation, data analytics, the use of chat bots, and a loyal audience that is willing to buy online.

One of the biggest benefits of moving a business online is the reduction in costs. These include costs like storage, with an online business, you can arrange products to be shipped directly from the supplier to the customer. It will also allow for faster shipping and less paperwork for the online business owner. Keeping in touch with customers and getting feedback from them is much more difficult if you have a traditional business. On the other hand, doing business on the Internet will certainly improve this part of the business and thereby increase its credibility. Moreover, having a great customer support component will attract more customers over time.
